Valery Joseph Salon is looking for a talented and experienced hair colorist assistant for one of New York's busiest colorists.

The position is currently for 5 days a week Monday to Friday where you will work closely with the colorist, prepare clients, mix formulas, apply color, and shampoo clients.

This is a great opportunity to grow and develop your professional skill in the beauty industry!

• Knowledge in color mixing and application with Wella, Majirel, and Redken Shades EQ is a plus but not a must! We offer education for the right candidates even if you don't have color experience.
• Be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and multi-task.
• Be customer service-oriented.
• Pay attention to details.
• Able to learn from your mistake and grow.
• Be available right away.
• During July and August, you will get to work in New York's most beautiful summer town of the rich and famous, Bridgehampton. The schedule is Wednesday to Friday. The company provides transportation and housing.
